Double-hand Poker is a cutting-edge game with ancient origins. Founded on the old Chinese domino game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the east with the western in a wonderful game for starting gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler versus the dealer, not like the majority of other poker games that gamblers play against other players. By betting against the dealer, starting players do not have to fret about any other, more advanced people taking their moolla.

Another Pai Gow benefit is the relatively slow game pace, rookies should be able to take their time and plan while not having to make frenzied decisions.

It's also easier to bet on for a long time with only a little amount of cash since, to not win, both of your hands must be lower than both of the casino's hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the familiar 52-card common deck and a single joker. The gambler is given 7 cards face up and the house is dealt 7 cards face down.

A 5 card hand and one 2 card hand have to be put together from the seven cards dealt, the 5 card hand must be higher than the 2 card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand totals to be higher than the casino's.
