Online poker has become world famous recently, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game events. Its universal appeal, though, arcs back quite a bit further than its television scores. Over the years numerous variations on the earliest poker game have been developed, including some games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to chemin de fer than traditional poker, in that the players bet against the dealer instead of each other. The winning hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is little concealment or different types of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up just before the dealer saying "No more bets." At that instance, both you and the house and of course every one of the different players acquire 5 cards. Once you have looked at your hand and the casino's initial card, you have to in turn make a call wager or accede. The call bet's value is akin to your beginning wager, indicating that the stakes will have doubled. Surrendering means that your bet goes directly to the bank. After the wager is the showdown. If the bank does not have ace/king or better, your wager is given back, plus an amount on par with the ante. If the dealer has a hand with ace/king or greater, you win if your hand defeats the bank's hand. The bank pony's up money equal to your bet and set expectations on your call wager. These odds are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • two to one for 2 pairs
  • 3-1 for 3 of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • 20-1 for a four of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
