Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Based on the old Chinese domino game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the eastern with the wild west in an awesome game for starting players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player against the casino, unlike most other poker games that gamblers play with other players. By playing against the dealer, new players don't need to fret about any other, more skillful gamblers winning their mulla.

Another Pai Gow advantage is the fairly leisurely game pace, rookies will be able to take their time and scheme while not having to make quick choices.

It is also much simpler to gamble on for a very long time with basically a small bit of money after all, to not win, both of your hands must be lower than each of the houses hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card common deck and a single joker. The gambler is dealt seven cards face up and the croupier is dealt 7 cards faces hidden.

A five card hand and one two card hand have to be made from the 7 cards dealt, the five card hand must be better than the two card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand totals to be larger than the houses.
