Online poker has become globally celebrated recently, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. The games popularity, though, stretches back quite a bit further than its television scores. Over the years several types on the original poker game have been developed, including a handful of games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to blackjack than long-standing poker, in that the gamblers bet against the dealer rather than each other. The succeeding hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no conniving or different kinds of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up before the croupier declares "No further wagers." At that moment, both you and the dealer and of course every one of the different players are given 5 cards each. Once you have seen your hand and the bank's first card, you have to in turn make a call wager or surrender. The call wager's amount is akin to your beginning wager, meaning that the stakes will have doubled. Giving Up means that your ante goes instantaneously to the dealer. After the wager comes the showdown. If the house does not have ace/king or better, your wager is returned, including a figure in accordance with the initial bet. If the dealer has a hand with ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand is greater than the dealer's hand. The house pays cash equal to your original bet and controlled expectations on your call bet. These expectations are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for 2 pairs
  • three to one for 3 of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
