Web poker has become globally celebrated lately, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, arcs back in reality a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years many variations on the original poker game have been created, including some games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely affiliated with twenty-one than old guard poker, in that the gamblers wager against the dealer rather than each other. The winning hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no bluffing or different types of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up prior to the dealer saying "No more wagers." At that point, both you and the bank and of course every one of the different gamblers are given 5 cards each. After you have looked at your hand and the dealer's 1st card, you must either make a call wager or accede. The call wager's amount is on same level to your beginning ante, meaning that the risks will have doubled. Surrendering means that your ante goes directly to the casino. After the wager comes the conclusion. If the house does not have ace/king or better, your bet is returned, with an amount on par with the initial bet. If the casino does have ace/king or better, you win if your hand is greater than the dealer's hand. The casino pays out money even with your wager and set expectations on your call bet. These odds are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • two to one for 2 pairs
  • 3-1 for three of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
