Online poker has become globally acclaimed lately, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. The games universal appeal, though, stretches back in fact a bit further than its television ratings. Over the years many variants on the earliest poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to chemin de fer than old guard poker, in that the players wager against the house instead of the other players. The winning hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is little concealment or other kinds of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up before the croupier broadcasting "No further wagers." At that instance, both you and the casino and of course every one of the different gamblers are given 5 cards each. Once you have observed your hand and the dealer's first card, you must in turn make a call bet or bow out. The call bet's amount is on same level to your original bet, which means that the risks will have doubled. Giving Up means that your wager goes instantly to the house. After the bet is the conclusion. If the bank does not have ace/king or greater, your wager is returned, including a figure in accordance with the original wager. If the casino does have ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand is greater than the casino's hand. The bank pays chips equal to your wager and fixed odds on your call bet. These expectations are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • two to one for two pairs
  • three to one for three of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
